“The Locker Room” Updated at The Sean O Casey Theatre 2013

Play

Playwright HENRY HUDSON joins Pat Meehan to discuss the production of his play “The Locker Room” being presented at the Sean O’Casey Theatre in East Wall.

Henry tells Pat that he worked for a long time for the Electricity Supply Board before moving to teaching and getting started in writing drama with Kay Farrell at the Whitehall Launch arts group.

Henry has written a novel entitled “Beyond Pulditch Gate” a fictional account of a power station from 1958 until 1983, published by Wolftone Press and subsequently by a French publisher in 2007. He has also written an experimental novel and is currently working on children’s fiction.

The current production of “The Locker Room” has been revised and updated. This time the story is told through a nephew of the original character, who reads aloud from his uncle’s diary.
