GERALDINE FLEMING, who is a gardener in the Phoenix park speaks to Noel about Bee keeping in the park. They discuss some of the work associated with keeping bees and also the different types of bees being kept in Ireland.

They talk of keeping hives in the presidents grounds and Ashtown in the Phoenix park and also the quality of the honey which is produced. Geraldine speaks of entering the honey produce into competitions and where the honey produced is sold and consumed.

They talk of an upcoming demonstration of beekeeping taking place and honey tasting events and the hope of future events coming into summer 2013.
