TINA WALSH, manager of Donnycarney Community & Youth Centre talks to Pat Meehan about the forthcoming Fun Run in aid of St Francis Hospice.
The Centre is a community facilities and services provider. Their focus is to provide recreational, social and educational space and activities for people of all ages, including young people at risk, in Donnycarney, Dublin 5 and neighbouring areas of Artane, Killester, Beaumont and Marino. They also organise and facilitate a range of short courses. These range from one to one dance practice to weekend fitness workshops, healthy lifestyle programmes to learning new skills. Their Meeting services include facilitating interviews, training courses, workshops and medium to large public functions. They also have fun and host birthday parties for kids!
