Local councillors have said that the closure of the taxi rank at Beaumont Hospital “makes no sense”.
Denise Mitchell, Councillor for Beaumont and Donaghmede, said that the rank is extremely busy and is needed by patients, doctors and visitors alike. She also said that the taxi rank is particularly important for senior citizens who use the hospital.
