Mark speaks with PAT BYRNE, a member of the Raheny Branch of Active Retirement Ireland talks about an art exhibition on display in Raheny Library.
She talks about how they meet once every week to paint and how the exhibition takes place on the free premises of the library, where the proceeds for the exhibitions go, the objectives of the retirement group and the other activities that they do for fun.
She also talks about how a lot more people are retiring at a younger age for several reasons, where the group usually meet and why it’s important for everyone of any age to get involved in their local community.
