Ger Leddin reports from the JFK Memorial in Wexford on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of John F Kennedy’s death.

Lieutenant AOIFE SHANLEY tells Ger about the planned procession and band fanfare as they prepare to lay a wreath on the memorial.

Minister Brendan Howlin will inspect Guard of Honour. Ministers Keogh and Howlin will make speeches recalling the Kennedy family and the close relationship they have with Ireland.

The ceremony closes with a lone piper playing a lament.
