LYNN MCGRANE joins Noel McGuinness to discuss the NINE exhibition. Lynn begins by detailing the conception of the exhibition and also speaks about the LAB space, based in Foley Street and it’s purpose as a basis for new contemporary visual artists.
We hear that the exhibition features works by a number of artists who look at the transitional period of a child’s life where they grow from children into young teenagers. They talk of doodling being, in some cases, an integral opportunity to begin to develop an artistic skill.
Lynn shares some of the positive feedback from the artistic community and tells that the first school group will be attending the exhibition in the coming week. She also encourages school groups to contact them to arrange a tour of the space.
