JUAN O’PEREZ and NOREEN DELANEY joins Noel McGuinness to speak about the Art Exhibition created by the Art Group in the Resource Centre in Santry and showing at the Northside Civic Centre.
Juan, who is the mentor for the group, speaks of the interesting idea of working as a group compared to painting alone. He talks of the artistic impulse of painting and allowing people to react to the art in order to gain an insight into ones own talents or skill.
They discuss the different abilities of the group and Juan speaks of how he encourages students to paint at their individual level. Noreen goes on to explain her art which features in the exhibition, sharing where the ideas came from and her experience of the painting process.
They finish up by sharing details of the class and how one can get involved with it.
