Alison at the Raheny GAA club joins Barbara Jennings to discuss the work of the organisation. Alison explains that they have some great coaches and the kids learn football, camogie, hurling and also a bit of Irish language along the way.

Tommy, manager of the bar, discusses the history of the club and that the club is 54 years in existence. He discusses some of the memorable players that have gone on to play for Dublin county. Tommy explains how the goal of the club is to keep children active.

Neil, selector for the senior team explains his work with the club. He explains that the adult football section has four teams and there are also three hurling team. Neil shares with us how he got involved with the club and that is a great way to spend your time, make friends and whether you are winning or losing its great to be part of the team. They also discuss the volunteering aspect of G.A.A., and how the volunteer ethos keeps clubs going.
