John Healy is joined by ITA BRADSHAW from the Northside Citizens Information Centre to discuss the One-Parent Family Payment (OFP). A OFP is a payment for men and women under 66 who are bringing children up without the support of a partner. They discuss the recent changes made to the payment and the rules and qualifications that an individual must meet to apply for the grant.

Ita outlines the details of the scheme in great detail and the other schemes that a individual may also be entitled to depending on their situation.

They also speak of the services on offer from the information centre, the hours in which the centre are open and the outreach centres in which they operate.
