CATRIONA REDMOND from Balbriggan Allotments chats with Noel McGuinness about the organisations’s 2012 Open Day.
It has been great to follow the progress of the Balbriggan Allotments and how quick the allotments are taking shape. The Balbriggan Allotment Association held an Open Day on Saturday 20th October to get the grounds ready for the growing season and people of all ages turned out to help.
The Allotment Initiative which Includes Bee-Keeping and Communal Pig-Rearing is taking great shape thanks to the many volunteers who turned out today. We look forward to the next installment when the allotments are planted up!
