TOM ROWLEY, co founder of Storymap.ie speaks to Eoin Drinan about the purpose of the website. He explains how the website provides an ability for people to click online on a street (or via an app) and tap into stories about certain areas of that street.
For a local it offers and opportunity to see the surroundings with a fresh eye. For tourists it offers a local insight.
They discuss some particular stories such as one about a war horse grave in the Royal Hospital grounds. They also discuss the website itself and how they source the stories that it contains, including its accuracy. At the time of the interview they had 80 stories mapped out across Dublin.
