Thousands of people gathered in the capital to urge the Government to do more to help refugees risking their lives to get to Europe.
Marching though the Dublin’s city centre, the protesters joined with dozens of other marches across the world as part of a mass ‘Refugee Welcome’ demonstration.
Organisers said there was a good turn out this afternoon in Dublin, and that a march in Galway was also well supported by people angry at the Europe’s lacklustre respond to the refugee crisis.
Representing NEAR FM, FLAVIA GORETTA attended the demonstration and interviewed people in the heat of the moment.
