Noel Mc Guinness speaks to  CLAIRE SHANNON from the Peter Mc Verry trust which is  a charity set up by Fr Peter Mc Verry to reduce homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage. CLAIRE talks about the different fund raising events they organise throughout the year & about the  event which is coming up in may called ” The Long Walk Home”. This event will take place over three days along the river Barrow way . The first day it’s a 30 km walk, the second day is a 30 km walk, & the third is a 15 km walk. To take part in this event you have to raise 600 euro per person & they are looking for at least fifty people to take part.
