Barbara Jennings interviews AOIFE CONCANNON from the Improvised Music Company, a non-profit resource for Jazz and Wold Music, and they organize two Jazz Festivals. One of them is coming soon, called Twelve Points, a festival for young European Jazz; it takes place in Dublin every second year and then in a random European in alternate years. This years they’ll be in Umea, Northern Sweden from the 10th to the 12th of April. They also organize more local events in Dublin. Their big Irish event is the Down With Jazz Festival, which takes place every year in June in Meeting House Square.
