CHARLES DUGGAN joins Eoin Drinan to talk about the Dublin Tenement Experience, an “Actor led” exhibition/performance to celebrate the centenary of the 1913 Lock Out.
Charles talks about where the idea of the exhibition came from, what Dublin was like at the time, how Henrietta Street became a tenement area in the 1880’s and the events of the “Lock out” itself back in 1913.
He also talks about the features and presentations taking part during the exhibition, the overwhelming response to the powerful performances and how they would be happy to hear from anybody who may have documents or artifacts related to the time.
