Pat Meehan talks to JOE MOONEY, who comes on to NST to talk about how East Wall celebrates its history in Paradise. ‘Paradise Alley’ by John D Sheridan was first published by Talbot Press in 1945 and a new edition has been published by Seven Towers. The book is a history of a school and a schoolteacher in East Wall and covers the time period of the 1913 Lock Out. It is a fictional book but the characters are based on real people. They discuss the launch of the book by Catherina Crow from the National Archive of Ireland.
A new edition of the book is published by Sarah Lundberg of Seven Towers publishing.
