Conor speaks with JOE DUFFY, RTE broadcaster and author of the book “Children of the Rising”.

He talks about the theme of the book, what he discovered when researching the theme, some of the bits and pieces that the children collected before the rising, how the idea of the book started and how his research developed with helps from the relatives of the children and how some of the children lived around the time of the rising.

He also talks about how important Dublin is to Ireland’s formation and how he launched his book in the GPO.
