FIONN SCOTSCHECK talks to Noel McGuinness about the Irish Blue Cross’s annual Bark in the Park™ sponsored dog walks in St. Anne’s Park in Raheny to raise vital funds for sick and needy pets. The Irish Blue Cross can guarantee entertainment and fun for all the family, both 2-legged and 4-legged.
After the walk, participants will be in with a chance to win one of the much-coveted prizes for the dog with the Best Bark, Happiest Smile, Shiniest Coat and Waggiest Tail! There will also be a raffle with great prizes, music and goody bags containing canine and human treats.
Further Information
The walk takes place over a picturesque 4km route, suitable for all dogs and owners, starting from, and finishing up at the Sybil Hill Road entrance beside St. Paul’s College.
How You Can Take Part
The Blue Cross invite all dog lovers to come along, rain or shine and support the Charity to raise much-needed funds for its work, which is more in demand than ever. Last year, The Irish Blue Cross provided in the region of 30,000 treatments and surgeries, and expect this figure to rise.
