Ger Leddin speaks to MARY FLAHERTY of CARI in relation to Child Sexual abuse and look at the figures for 2010. They begin by discussing the services CARI offers to children and families who are affected by abuse.
They discuss the percentages of institutional abuse/clerical abuse, as well as abuse that takes place in the family home. They talk about the sentence duration that have been passed down in recent times and discuss how the state has or has not been able to intervene to protect children.
