Ballymun Men’s Centre

Play

Pat Meehan talks to ANDREW EARLY about the Ballymun Men’s Centre. The centre has ran out of funding. Set up in 1996, it is a drop in centre for men in the local area. For men who are unemployed or retired or separated etc. It is somewhere to go and get guidance free of charge from Councillors on call. Andrew talks about his own experience losing his pension and about his son and how he got excellent help from the Ballymun Men’s Centre.

There are art, history, music classes and various other activities available through the centre.

Andrew is appealing for the centre to remain open in the face of closure due to cuts.
